HOLY COW!! I haven't updated in... forever. But s'ok, cuz I'm BACK! And I have tickets to the midnight showing of GoF, so it's like... a million times cooler. You know it.
Due to my long absence, I cleaned out a bunch of old communities that I didn't like. I'm hoping to now go out and find some new ones. I cleaned them because I no longer liked them/never checked them. So I hope to get that back on schedule. Holy fork, I can't WAIT to see Hagrid being all love sick and the Albus/Minerva dance! I will squee like the silly little girl I am. I will also bask in jaw dropping of Harry at Hermione. I truly hate that dress, but I'm hoping that good dose of H/Hr will be able to block that out.
And let me just say, merpeople, at first I was disappointed with your appearance. But after seeing the trailer once in the theater, 13 times on the TV and 4 times on the sides of busses, I'm warming up to you guys.
I'm re-reading GoF and hoping that it will be fresh in my mind when I see the movie. Unfortunately, I'm doing the exact same thing with Sense and Sensibility and The Chronicles of Narnia. O_O

I want a good programme to make icons with... but I’m not sure which one I should get... then there’s the matter of convincing my mom to buy it, then convincing my dad to let me install it on his computer. I most certainly can’t install it on mine, the damn thing will crash. (See below entry.)
My brother says he can get a good version, when I asked him how he yelled, “Because I be a pirate!!” and then started cackling. So... I guess I have to trust him not to get caught and have FBI people bursting through our door. Even though he tells me they won’t.
Even if I do get a cool programme, I still have to figure out how to use it... oh well, I’ll cross that burning bridge when I get to it.
My, I haven’t posted this much in my LJ in a long time.

Top ten reasons why I hate my computer:
1) It’s slow 2) It crashes when you ask it to do the simplest tasks 3) Its internet stopped working about... a year ago 4) It’s over 6 years old 5) It’s been passed down from my dad, to my mom, to me 6) I can’t do anything with it, really. 7) It’s got really lame programs on it. 8) I hate the keyboard 9) I haven’t used the damn thing in nearly a year 10) My parents always bitch about me using their computers too much when they know that my computer DOESN’T WORK!!!
Ok, now that I’m done bitching. We can all go back to our lives.

I am 55% Video Game Addict. Video games are a big portion of my life, maybe too big of a portion. They are not a means of social interaction, despite what I might think. I should just go outside.

I have discovered some new joys/loves right here on LJ. First off is hp_awards, CSI_challenge, the Ministry_of_art (well, that’s only a few weeks old), and I’m thinking about moseying on over to the Shipping challenge... but we’ll see, there’s a lot of disturbing G/Hr stuffs goin’ on down there. O_O Frightening.
There’s a lot of communities where they focus on just Harry. But Harry is an emo child, and while I love him, I have no interest for him by himself. Well... sometimes I do, but I just can’t look at Dan Radcliff (or whatever the fork his name is) for too long. HE’S NOT HARRY DAMN IT!!! But I’ve got a soft spot for him, same thing with Rupert, it’s not their fault that they’re nothing like what I thought Ron and Harry would be... ah well, the CSI challenge makes me happy. So whatever.
I’m also seriously tempted to join the Weasley challenge community... I’ll do it, JUST YOU WATCH!! Blargh. I can’t wait until the 5th movie comes out because then we’ll have buckets of Luna, Tonks, and Sirius pictures to make icons out of, and there will be joy. JOY DAMN YOU!! I bet Luna won’t be anything like I imagined her, but oh well, TGSMT icons will be ripe for the making. So will Neon icons... yesh.
My god, I haven’t even looked at Titans Graphics in FOREVER! They redid the layout and it looks positively pimping if I may say so myself! I’m getting caught up in all the HP hoopla. But, I saw the funniest Teen Titans today, it was the one where Beast Boy works to get his moped. I love the supreme ruler!!! He is teh sex, mm-kay?
I also got Mel’s birthday pic up, thank god, it was only about a week late. *rolling of the eyes* There was flying toast and blood... and Slayne, all the good things in life that Mel appreciates. I also have to get around to drawing Ace for Rachel... mmm-yessss...
I took a damn long time finding my way over to the Snitch and Bitch (Draco/Pansy) But I’m there and life’s good. The snob love shall reign supreme! *maniacal laughter*
*nibbles on her fingers* More later.

| AHA! |
[24 Jun 2005|07:16pm] |
My back aches! I think it’s from all the manual labour my parents made me do yesterday, the fact that my brother left half way through didn’t help matters either.
Last night we (being my dragon boating team) went to this restaurant called Moxies. It was so much fun! Max was a real idiot though, he snorted pepper up his nose and almost threw up. O_O nice... So then Ivy had to stay over because... just because. Then today, me an Ivy met up with Anna and we went along 4th. I got another Card Captor Sakura manga! Le woo. I also reserved my copy of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!! I got it for only 30 dollars too! Amazing, truly. So I’ll pick it up on the 16th and 12:01!! Le sqee!
We also saw my dad at the book shop, and he gave us monies for ice cream! Hurrah!
Things not to do over your summer vacation:
1)Spend half a day stuffing large branches into garbage bags. 2)Lose your dog in the thick part of the forest and have to go in looking for him.

I’m a free woman!! School’s over, and so is the Alcan festival! In the races we made it all the way to the finals! But then we came in last, or second to last (I don’t remember) so that kind of sucked. But we did better than a lot of adult teams, so that was cool.
I also saw Mme. Rollins there and she gave me a pony! She’s so cute, (Mme. Rollins and the pony!)
Then on Monday (yesterday) I went swimming with Anna and we played some more Master Quest. When we got to Jabu Jabu... There were cow heads sticking out of the walls. It was... one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen. I also had a long conversation about video games with a 19 year old boy who was trying to sell newspaper subscriptions or something... anyways.
So it’s summer now... Alida’s gone off to California and is coming back on the ninth, only to leave the next day for FRENCH camp. O_O Not only is it in FRENCH (the most loathed language among my friends) but she’s going to miss the next Harry Potter book coming out!
Speaking of Harry Potter, I’ve fallen in love with Tonks/Sirius. I haven’t loved a ship this much since I found Sess/Kagura from InuYasha!
I went to Ikea today with my mom and dad (my dad wasn’t supposed to be there. But he had a conference out there and it turned out he was a week early... sooo....) I bought this giant multicoloured stuffed snake and I called him ‘Sea food: The Guttery Snake of Insinuation.’ XD

Had my first final today, it was only English.
Tomorrow I have Social Studies. *spooky shiver* I don’t want to think about it... XP
I got the second Harry Potter movie today. Gilderoy can sign my books any day.
Speaking of Harry Potter, the reason I got the second movie TODAY (I’ve been wanting it for a few years...) was that I seriously want to make an HP club at school. Seriously, I’m serious.
Also, Alida and Roisin came over today (ohmeegawrd! I haven’t seen Roisin in MONTHS!!) It was momentous. So we watched the second Harry Potter movie, with me spewing out HP facts and venting my frustration at Movie!Hermione. Because I love Emma and I love Hermione, but they just can’t function under some directors *shakes head sadly* Le sigh.
Anyways, I’ve started to re-re-read OoTP, because:
A) New book coming out soon
B) I've completely blocked it out. Perhaps all the backstory got to me.
On another note, I have a virus that’s affecting my throat, my chest, my nose and my EARS!!! I’ve gone kooky in my right ear. It feels like when your ears are about to pop, but then they don’t. It’s been like this for three days now! We went to the doctor and she says that all we can do it wait it out.
If I out my head upside down or on it’s side I can feel stuff shifting around in my ear... (Not normal... well, not for me anyways.)

This weekend was like... Alida weekend. She was at my house both Saturday AND Sunday, because she loves me SOOOOOOO much. You know it’s true. So anyways, we found Super Sudden Death mode on SSBM, and Alida had these damn LAND MINES!! She was Kirby, and could float over the damn things, but I was Ganondorf! GANONDORF!! I died like... 5 million times. Bleh, my brain appears to have fallen out of my ear. I feel le stupid.
In other news, I LOVE POSTING PARTIES! Hmmmm, maybe I should start a posting party at The Government Stole My Toad... I think about it. There’s only like... 5 of us, BUT WHO CARES!?
Today was my last day of classes, wee! Also my last class with Mme. Rollins until grade 10. So I’m a bit disappointed about that, but what can I do?
Dear lord my life is uneventful and boring. Whatever.

Well, let’s start with yesterday... If I can remember anything...
To make things simple we’ll start with Block A... I bought some Social Studies notes off my English teacher. She was selling science notes too but I didn’t get any, I should have though... eep. There’s a lot to go through! ;3;
Block B: We played games in CAPP because it was second to last day and we really had nothing else to do. Sure Mme. Rollins SAID that they were games meant to help us with our lives but I think she wanted to just... get away from teaching for a block. Which is understandable, she teaches me French... she’s scary when she’s under pressure and with the finals... O_O I don’t want to think about it.
So anyways, I played this game called Chicken Soup for the Teenaged Soul. I played it with Julia, Julie, Rachel, and Mia (eep again.) The stupid thing kept asking questions about the first boy I’d ever dated, or the first kiss I ever got... I’m a fish, I’ve never gone on a date let along been kissed before. Yegh, I don’t want to either. The game also kept asking us “if you could have four wishes what would they be?” Every one took turns reading theirs out. Here’s a summary of their lists, “Money, boys, more money, clear skin.” Then there’s me with my, “No pollution, no endangered animals, no poverty...” Sounds like it fell out of the mouth of a super model at one of those “Miss Universe” pageants. They also kept talking about alchohaul and boys and sex. O_O I mostly laughed it off and we all had a pretty fun time actually.
Block C was just a normal math class. Oh wait! We had a math test. You know what I really hate? When I do REALLY well on the mock quizzes, and then freeze up on the real tests. ARGH!
Then there was science and all we did was watch these old British science videos (and then some Mr. Bean)
So today, I had my second portion of my French final, I think I did well. Then we all played soft ball, I did surprisingly well actually... I got two runs!!
Then we had the skits... This term my group had to do an air band, but last term we had to do skits. So this term it was another group’s turn to do the skits. They were so damn funny! They had this great one with ninjas from the east side fighting with Ninjas from the west side. And one with the Terminator, Elvis and Gandhi! *rolls eyes* I was laughing for over an hour! Then it hit me. I’m way happier at U-Hill then I even was at JQ... wow.
So then at squash tonight I had one of the longest games of squash in the history of me. If you look at the score board it says, 2-2, 2-2, 2-2, 2-2, 2-2, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4, and so on, jeebus it was long. AND I WON! By one point to.

Dear lord. We had air band presentations today. Everyone said that ours was the best in the dress rehearsal, but there were WAY more people this time! I was so scared I was going to jab myself in the eye, vomit, faint, or do all of the above. O_O Luckily it went off without a hitch and we got the loudest applause! This is funny because we had severe issues with our song and started late. Like... a month late.
ARGH!!! For some reason fictionalley.org is down. GOD POOP IT! I wanted to go on soooooo badly too!
In other less amazing news, I saw House yesterday, it was very good. It was kind of freaky though, because this guy was on the roof, but he thought he was on some soccer field, and it was real to him! Then he nearly walked off the roof ledge, then I started asking myself questions like, “Dear jeebus, what of I’m not really here? What if I’m sitting in a mental institution somewhere and people are looking at me with pity because I’m insane??!?! Yeeeeee!!!” So I was very freaked out.
I also went to a meeting about the Japan exchange programme. I’m not sure whether I want to go or not. I’m –unfortunately- picky about food, and sea food makes me sick, so I’m worried about that... I’m also not very good with people, even if they speak my language. But it does look like a lot of fun... Hmmmm, well, I’ve got a while to think it over.

You are Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, the mysterious second part of HP. In this novel, Harry finds himself in the middle of an odd bunch of circumstances, all pointing directly to him. He must learn to accept the criticism that comes his way because of his oddities. In this novel, Harry is not the only one who faces his ultimate fear in order to save the people he cares about.

The last of the insane friends/relatives has gone home today. Mehgad. They don’t interest me, I shall talk about something else...
Here I go!
I went to rock climbing today even though I desperately wanted to stay in bed and think about Harry Potter for the entire morning. Bu I went anyways, because it was the last day of the term anyways. We had a party, but it wasn’t really a party, it was more... a lot of kids sitting around eating junk food, discussing the topic of junk food, and comparing what kind of junk foods they brought.
So then I went to Bob’s house to work on our project with Eric and Melanie, I kicked all their asses at Super Smash Brothers! X3
On the bus ride to Bob’s I met Anna on the bus, which is hardly surprising because she lives a block away from Bob. So I went to Anna’s afterwards. I had fun there, and I got to go on their trampoline! But I came home after Allan started being a punk/ho bitch to me.
Anyways, that’s been my day. Le woo.

Recapping, right, got ya.
So, Thursday, after I made that post about scary people invading my home, I went to a school dance. It was a bit a fun actually. They played about 5 good songs, but I DID get to dance... are you ready for thins? THE ROBOT!! T’was awesome. They also had free drinks and crappy candy bars for me to get hyper off of! Woo.
Then Friday... I don’t remember what I did Friday, I was dead that day, mm-kay?
So Saturday –after I had gotten ice cream with Anna and Sam- I hung out with Alida, and to get away from the invaders we went… out. First we got slurpees, then we went to the park, then we went to the beach. We saw a whole bunch of dead starfish, one had six (count ‘em, SIX) tentacles!! We poked it.
Then that night it was the party for my mom and dad’s 25th anniversary, it was good because I got to see a bunch of people that I haven’t see in a while (like Bonnie, how I missed her!) But after I wile I got tired of all the “Look how much you’ve grown!” and “I knew you when you were this tall!” speeches, so I hid with my brother and we watched TV.
Sunday... I don’t remember, skip it.
Monday was boring, you don’t want to hear about Monday.
Yesterday, Tuesday, I started on my Autobiography project. I’m making a book and pasting things in it with duct tape. I’ve printed out avatars, comics, pictures... all sorts of stuff. It isn’t due until Fridays, but I’ve been having so much fun with it that I’m neglecting all my other homework.
Then today was also boring.
